To those who know her has been a trailblazer for women. She started her leadership journey by being chosen to lead a microbiology laboratory at a 450-bed hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA. 5 years later, she began her corporate ascent by first becoming a top salesperson in a 5-state Midwest territory for a microbiology startup and then helping to start its marketing department.
She left this company to become the head of a 21-person marketing department in a division of an 8.5-billion-dollar pharmaceutical company. Later, she became their first female division president.
5 years later, she helped them sell this division and then was the first female to purchase a franchise of a coaching and peer advisory company. She grew this company and became one of their top-tier US owners. She still advises a few lucky small business owners and has coached them for over 10,000 hours.
While coaching, she identified one of the most troubling areas for small business owners, HR, and hiring. To help resolve this issue, she started a nationwide company whose mission is to provide good fractional HR and hiring solutions and continues to run and grow this company, SevenStar HR®.
