Are You Sleeping Enough?

The purchase of life insurance can be somewhat involved. After making a sales presentation, I often tell clients to “sleep on it.” A number of different options and strategies are often discussed, and I want it all to sink in. Once my input has been digested a bit, people can make a clear-headed decision.

A good nights’ sleep can do many things besides help our mental functioning. It can induce healing and prevent disease. As a matter fact, poor sleep has been linked to the flu, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity!

We all have problems falling asleep at one time or another. Some of us have more trouble than others. Fortunately, many techniques are available to help us get the job done. Dr. Oz has a good list of helpful tips. I particularly like the one about working out. Which one is your favorite?
