Three patterns that keep you in the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle

by Angie Carlson|

Three patterns that are keeping you stuck in the cycle of living paycheck-to-paycheck
(and steps you can take TODAY to change that).

I understand how this can happen.

Society tells us what is normal, so it’s easy to jump to the conclusion that living paycheck-to-paycheck is normal.

You look around at all of the fancy items others have and jaw dropping Instagram trips taken and wonder what you are doing wrong – you KNOW you make more than they do, and you can’t do any of that.

The actions you have taken are just not working. You’re beyond frustrated and frustrated is worse than what you were feeling… so you settle for your current situation.

Pattern One: The belief that ignoring your money challenges will make them better
Facing reality when you have no idea where to start is overwhelming. It’s simpler to put it off and not take any action. The result of that is the money challenges continue. What would it be like if you took charge of learning the facts?

Pattern Two: Assuming Making More Money is the Answer
When looking at your money as just a math equation, it’s easy to come to this conclusion. Making more money does not mean you have the skills to manage more money. Think back to the last time your income increased. What was the result?

Pattern Three: That others get to decide how you spend your money.
When someone disagrees with your money choice (only exception is your spouse, if married), it’s their issue – not yours. It takes some thick skin to be OK with being made fun of for not having the latest phone or driving the crappiest car in the workplace.

The fear of being rejected is real – and so is the fear of staying in the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.

This is why I am available for a conversation if you would like to discuss any of these patterns in your life.

Stop money from hindering your life to living the life you’ve always wanted.
