The Fall Season of Wealth: When Letting Go Gets Harder

Angie Carlson |

That Coach bag continues to collect dust in your closet.

Not because you couldn’t afford it – because the guilt won’t let you enjoy it.

The trees have something to teach us about this…

Every fall, the trees remind us: letting go is its own kind of beauty.

We don’t mourn the fall. We celebrate it.

The vibrant colors. Breathtaking views.

The most stunning moment of a tree? When it’s releasing the leaves.

Because it’s not losing anything. It’s becoming what it was always meant to be.

The tree releases what it no longer needs so it can become healthier, stronger, and ready for what is next.

You’ve been doing the same thing.

Releasing debt.

Building discipline.

Buying assets.

But now that you have more?

The process of letting go can no longer be trusted.

Because it’s no longer focused on numbers.

The next season of letting go isn’t something you can logic your way through.

It’s that voice that whispers “you can’t have nice things” (when you look at that Coach bag.)

It’s asking your spouse “do you think we should?” (when you both know the answer is yes).

It’s choosing miserable over reckless (because you don’t know how to be wealthy and good).

That’s how the financial advisor and your spreadsheets validate that you’re good to go… but you still say no.

That’s when my clients come to me.

When logic is no longer enough.

When the spreadsheets work but the worthiness doesn’t.

When they realize that this isn’t something their budget, financial advisor or therapist can help them fix.

And here’s what makes it so hard:

You can see the problem, but can’t think your way through it.

The tree doesn’t ask our permission to become what it’s meant to be.

It just does it. Without apology.

This is your season.

My 1:1 private mentorship will help you step into it.
