Confucius on the Three Ways to Wisdom

Confucius once said,
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is the noblest; second, by imitation, which is the easiest; and third, by experience, which is the bitterest.”

The wisdom of this ancient sage certainly applies today. As a matter of fact, it can help make the purchase of life insurance efficient and satisfying.

Reflection

Think about who is important to you. Think about their needs. Think about your legacy. Think about what it will cost to find that legacy.

Imitation

Identify people who have successfully designed their life insurance coverage. What choices did they have? What was the basis for their making the decisions they did?

Experience

Take a step. Many people often buy life insurance in stages. The policy you have today may not be the same one you need in ten years. Don’t be afraid to adjust to changing circumstances.
